Toronto-based Pizza Nova will hold its 27th annual That's Amore Pizza for Kids fundraiser on Tuesday, May 12, returning to its one-day event format for the first time since 2019, according to a press release.
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at participating Ontario locations, customers can purchase a medium cheese or pepperoni pizza for $5.99, including tax. The company will donate $1 from each pizza sold to Variety — the Children's Charity (Ontario).
The partnership has raised more than $2.9 million since 1999. In 2025, the campaign raised $231,045 through a different format. Proceeds from the event support inclusive sport, recreation, and life skill development programs for children.
"Bringing back the one-day event is incredibly meaningful for our customers and for us," Domenic Primucci, president of Pizza Nova, said in the release. "There's something special about seeing communities come together for a single day with a shared purpose. For 27 years, our partnership with Variety has been rooted in making a real impact, and we're proud to continue supporting children and families across Ontario in such a tangible way."
The fundraiser aims to remove barriers for children at Variety Village and within local communities to help them build physical literacy and social connections.
"Pizza Nova has been an extraordinary partner in creating opportunities for vulnerable individuals through Variety," Charlie Johnstone, president and CEO of Variety — the Children's Charity (Ontario) & Variety Village, said in the release. "The return of this one-day campaign brings renewed energy to the program, uniting communities together in a shared moment of impact. Every pizza purchased provides children and families with access to inclusive programs that foster independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging."
The offer is available for walk-in customers while quantities last.
Pizza Nova has more than 150 restaurants and concession locations in southern Ontario.
