Pizza Patron signs agreement for 25 Arizona units

PHOENIX -- Pizza Patron, the premier Latino pizza brand, has signed a development agreement to open 25 Arizona units within the next four years.

According to a news release, Lee M. Cohn and Lalo Gonzales, both veteran restaurateurs, have formed Grupo Pizza De Arizona, LLC to develop the Pizza Patron brand.

Though the partners have signed on to develop 25 Pizza Patron units, Cohn said in the release that their goal is to have 45 units around the state.

Their first unit should be open in Phoenix before year's end, according to Gonzales, and six others should follow by the end of 2004.
