Pizza Pizza opens second British Columbia restaurant

Canadian chain Pizza Pizza has opened its second traditional restaurant in British Columbia in the city of Burnaby. The company opened its first B.C. store in Delta earlier this year.
Franchisee Elmo Fernando operates the new restaurant, which is immediately east of Vancouver.
The Burnaby restaurant is part of a larger strategic expansion throughout the country that has included new locations in Montreal, Winnipeg and Saskatchewan.
To celebrate the opening, Pizza Pizza will be hosting a special pizza party for residents of the region July 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The two Pizza Pizza outlets in the area - Delta and Burnaby - will host a special pizza party which will include balloons, prizes and discounted pizza slices.
Prizes include free pizza for a year. Gift cards, for $25, will be given away to the first 25 customers that come to the event.
