Pizza Pizza reports sales growth

TORONTO — Pizza Pizza announced Aug. 11 that its earnings for the quarter ended June 30, Pizza Pizza Limited system sales were $83.4 million, or an increase of 4.7 percent when compared to the same period in 2004.

Same store sales growth through the six months ending in June increased 4.1 percent from the same period in 2004. For the four-weeks ending July 31, system sales jumped 7.5 percent, to $25.9 million, from the same period in 2004.
