Pizza POS maker, FireFly, top tech grower in Portland

HILLSBORO, Ore. — Pizza POS software developer, FireFly Technologies, was ranked as the seventh-fastest-growing technology company for 2003-2005 by the Portland Business Journal. According to a news release, the publication picks the top 25 technology companies each year and ranks them by a two-year growth rate. FireFly achieved a 134 percent growth rate for the period.

 

"Even though we've been in business for a number of years, we're still achieving triple-digit growth," said FireFly managing partner Brian White. "That number reflects the phenomenal level of interest in our Phoenix POS product, and we hope to continue our fast growth in the years to come. As we grow, our commitment to top-quality customer service will always be paramount."

 

In June, editors of the Business Journal ranked FireFly 32nd on its Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Oregon list. This was the company's third consecutive year on the list.
