Pizza Ranch brings back seasonal salad

Pizza Ranch is introducing some new - and missed - flavors into its mile-long buffet: Cowboy Cacciatore Pizza and the return of its Apple Harvest Salad. 

The Cowboy Cacciatore pizza is made with roasted green peppers, onion, mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, Italian sausage and 100 percent real cheese blend, topped with a mix of herbs after baking. 

The Apple Harvest Salad is returning to the buffet line-up. Pizza Ranch received numerous requests from guests for the salad with lettuce, chunks of apples, walnuts and raisins, topped with honey mustard dressing. 

“We were hoping that our feature salads would be a hit with our guests. It’s great to be able to bring them back from time to time,” said Gwen Lahrs, senior advertising and marketing manager. “Apple Harvest was requested so often that in less than a year it is back on our line-up.” 

Both buffet items will be available through the end of January 2011. Pizza Ranch has 154 locations in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan, Illinois and Kansas.
