A PizzaForno vending machine has opened in Gruene, Texas, offering 24/7 access to six different pizza flavors, according to a Herald-Zeitung report. Located at the corner of Hunter Road and New Braunfels Street, the automated machine cooks pizzas in three minutes or provides cold pizzas for take-home baking.

"There's some great restaurants around [Gruene] and we're certainly not competitive to that. We're a vending machine. It's not designed to be your favorite pizza — it's about being convenient," owner Jeremy Hintz told the news outlet.

Hintz aims to serve late-night crowds and those seeking food after other establishments have closed. Pizzas are $13 each and considered shareable. Hintz, a New Braunfels resident, emphasizes the local ownership and operation of the business, despite the Toronto-based PizzaForno company. He plans to expand to other high-traffic locations if the Gruene venture is successful.
