In 1963, Jim Stolfe started a pizzeria named in honor of his wife. Today the Stolfe family operates a multi-million dollar business built on strategic partnerships with an array of major foodservice operators. Connie's pizzas are not only sold at eight restaurants in the Windy City and the University of Chicago, but also in retail grocery stores in five states, 1,200 Sodexho-managed hospital cafeterias, several national theatre chains, major hotels such as Hilton, Marriott and Sheraton, and at both Disney parks in the U.S., to name a few. Riding the healthy wave, Connie's Restaurant Group introduced Connie's Naturals, certified organic pizzas, several years ago, and has also unveiled several new concepts: Connie's Pronto, Ambrosia Natural & Organic Café and Pazzini.
