Pizzanista honors Joan Jett with vegan pizza

Pizzanista, located in Los Angeles, will honor legendary rocker Joan Jett in a collaboration with Miyoko's Creamery and PETA during Veganuary, according to a VegOut Magazine report.

The collaboration launched Jan 22. for a limited time only. Veganuary is a monthlong movement designed to encourage people to consume plant-based ingredients and go vegan.

Jett, a longtime vegan, has been touted by PETA for years.

Guests can add a number of toppings, including vegan Be-Hive bacon or pepperoni, vegetables and Miyako's signature vegan cheese on an 18-inch crust.
