PizzaRev launches pet adoption campaign

In celebration of National Pet Adoption Month, PizzaRev has launched the "No. PizzaRevPets" campaign to help find homes for sheltered or abandoned animals.

In celebration of National Pet Adoption Month, PizzaRev has launched the "#PizzaRevPets" campaign to help find homes for sheltered or abandoned animals. Throughout June, participants of the campaign can share their favorite adopted pet photo and their adoption story via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #PizzaRevPets. The company will choose one grand-prize winner to receive free pizza for a year and display their winning photo at PizzaRev restaurants across the country. Ten winners will receive a $100 PizzaRev gift card, the announcement said.

"Giving back to the communities we serve is a founding principle of our company, and pet adoption is a cause that we have been especially passionate about since we started PizzaRev," Nicholas Eckerman, co-founder and COO of PizzaRev, said in a statement. "We have adopted many pets into the PizzaRev family, and the #PizzaRevPets campaign is a way for our guests to share their stories and encourage pet adoption among their friends and families."

Additionally, the PizzaRev team will participate in a "Sleepover at the Shelter" on June 12 to benefit Shelter Me, Bark Avenue Foundation and the Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation. Funds from the event are intended to increase adoptions of homeless pets and provide free spay-neuter to underserved communities.
