Pizzeria owners develop alternative fuel plan

The Advocate (Stamford, Conn.): The owners of Fat Cat Pie Co. in Norwalk, Conn., are powering their pizza-delivery cars with recycled vegetable oil. However, vegetable oil is not a registered fuel with the federal Environmental Protection Agency, and it's against the law to modify an engine to run on a fuel different from that listed on the car's emissions certificate.
