WHEATON, Ill. -- Two Elgin teen-agers could spend as much as 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to robberies at two pizza parlors in Northern Illinois.
According to the Chicago Tribune, John Southammavong, 19, and Paul Chanthalusy, 18, admitted to robbing Nick's Pizza in Carol Stream and Frank's Pizza in Itasca last summer. The owner of Frank's wrestled a handgun away from one of the masked men, resulting in injuries to him and Southammavong.
Each defendant pled guilty to aggravated battery with a firearm, unlawful restraint and armed robbery, all felony charges.
