YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich.—Police continue to investigate the possible armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Ypsilanti Township on the night of April 8.
According to the Ann Arbor News, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said a delivery driver from Mr. Pizza was robbed at gunpoint seconds after he made a delivery to a home.
As the driver returned to his car, two armed men approached him and demanded cash. The driver gave them $180 and some checks, and the robbers fled.
A police dog led deputies to a home nearby, where nearly a dozen young men were hiding in the basement, according to officers.
No arrests were made, and the incident remains under investigation.
