Portillo's, Lou Malnati's reunite for 'three-peat' of Italian Beef Deep Dish Pizza

In celebration of National Italian Beef Week (May 20-26), Portillo's, the Chicago-style street food chain, is teaming up once again with Lou Malnati's to offer the Portillo's x Lou Malnati's Italian Beef Deep Dish Pizza nationwide, according to a press release.

This marks the third year for the collaborative pizza, which combines Portillo's slow-roasted Italian beef with Lou Malnati's signature deep-dish crust. Customers can choose the pizza with Portillo's sweet peppers or hot giardiniera for a spicy option.

"Portillo's Italian Beef is a favorite for many of our incredible guests and we understand why," Nick Scarpino, Portillo's CMO, said in the release. "With flavorful beef that has been slow roasted for four hours, mouthwatering gravy and the option to enjoy it with sweet or hot peppers, our Italian Beef sandwiches are quintessential Windy City cuisine. And, as we gear up for Italian Beef Week, we are thrilled to reunite with our friends at Lou Malnati's to give fans nationwide another delicious way to savor our Chicago-style Italian Beef."

The limited-edition pizzas are available for nationwide shipping through Lou Malnati's Tastes of Chicago website in packs of two, four or six. They can also be combined with other Portillo's offerings like Italian Beef sandwiches and Chicago-style hot dogs.

Lou Malnati's operates 75 locations in the Chicagoland area, Arizona, Indiana and Wisconsin.
