Preferred Restaurant Brands opens second Papa John's

Preferred Restaurant Brands, previously known as Dixie Foods International Inc., has announced the opening of its second Papa John's location. The franchisee's newest unit is on Roseville Boulevard in Roseville, California.

"We are excited to be expanding our Papa John's presence in Northern California," CEO Ken Antos said in a news release.  "This store opened to strong results this past weekend, as did our first location in Rocklin a few weeks ago; and, we look forward to serving this fast-growing community with Papa John's quality pizza and service. We expect to open at least two additional Papa John's locations in December."

The Roseville location is in approximately 1,573 square feet of space, leased and renovated by Preferred Restaurant Brands, in the Foothills and Junction Shopping Center, which is anchored by a fitness facility, a bank and other restaurants.

Preferred Restaurant Brands currently has eight additional Papa John's locations in the Fresno and Sacramento, California, areas in various stages of planning and construction.
