Prosecutor in pizza rage case strikes a deal

August 13, 2009

David Ranck, a former Miami-Dade County prosecutor, has reached a plea deal after being arrested for allegedly punching a pizza delivery woman, according to a story in the Miami Herald.

Ranck was accused of yelling at a Domino's employee and punching her in the arm because she was late. The deal means he can have a misdemeanor battery charge dropped if he completes anger management classes and 25 hours of community service.
