Q1 '04 comp-store sales heat up 6.2% at California Pizza Kitchen

LOS ANGELES—California Pizza Kitchen Inc. announced that comparable-restaurant sales for the first quarter 2004 (ended March 28, 2004) rose 6.2 percent over the same period in 2003.

According to a news release, revenues for the period were approximately $98.6 million, versus $82.9 million in the comparable period in 2003.
