INDIANAPOLIS -- Noble Roman's, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: NROM), a franchisor of pizza-focused convenience operations, announced earnings and net income increases for the quarter ended March 31, 2003.

According to a release, the company reported net income of $272,000 (2 cents per share) for the period, compared with $195,000 (a penny per share) for the same period last year. The earnings boost represents a 38.9 percent increase over a year ago.

Revenues for the period were up 22.6 percent to $1.8 million, compared to $1.4 million for the same period in 2002. According to the release, the increases reflect the company's growth in franchising efforts. Noble Roman's specializes in cobranded c-store pizza operations, and last year added a line of pizza kiosks and an automated pizza-making machine.
