IRVING, Texas — Comparable-store sales weren't negative enough to pull down profits or revenue during 2005's first quarter at CEC Entertainment, parent of Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza.
According to a regulatory filing, though comp-store sales decreased 1.8 percent during the 12-week period ended April 3, 2005, net income rose slightly to $32.3 million, compared to $31.4 million in the same period of 2004. Revenues increased to $214.1 million from $206.9 million in the comparable period.
