LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Yum! Brands, parent of Pizza Hut, reported that first-quarter 2006 same-store sales dropped 1 percent at the chain's 1,760 corporate-owned domestic units.
According to a news release, Pizza Hut's comps rose 3 percent in the same period in 2005. The company does not report comps at its franchise stores.
Comps fell 1 percent during the four weeks ended March 25, 2006, but were up 1 percent the year prior.
