Q3 comps jump 7% at California Pizza Kitchen

LOS ANGELES — Comparable-store sales at California Pizza Kitchen rose 7.1 percent for the 12 weeks ended Oct. 2. According to a news release, the strong sales lapped impressive comps of 8.7 percent recorded in the same period one year ago.

Third quarter revenues for the 185-unit chain increased 17.3 percent to $124.5 million versus $106.1 million in the same period in 2004.
