Rapid Fired opens another Dayton-area restaurant

Ohio-based Rapid Fired Pizza is opening a location Monday in Englewood, Ohio, northwest of the Dayton area. The South Main Street location will kick things off with a 500-pizza giveaway on Tuesday, according to a news release. 

The fast casual chain was founded in nearby Kettering, Ohio about 1½ years ago and expects to have 35 restaurants open in and around Dayton, Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky by the end of this year. The chain features thin, pan and "no-doh" pizza cooked in three minutes. Its menu also includes an array of salads, all boasting fewer than 400 calories each.
