A rebrand and an online ordering system are paying off for Hungry Howie's Pizza, according to a company press release, which reported that the chain has posted continued same-store sales growth for 24 consecutive quarters. It also achieved more than $342 million in sales last year.
The brand, which touts the glories of its flavored-crust pies, has experienced a $45 million increase in sales over the past two years alone. According to a release, the company's executives are attributing their success to a recent rebranding and a renewed focus on customer engagement.
Hungry Howie's restaurant interiors were also recently updated, and a news release said a new online ordering process has netted a 30-percent increase in sales.
"Since Hungry Howie's was founded in 1973, we have worked tirelessly to provide a positive experience for our guests and a profitable business model for our franchisees," said Hungry Howie's CEO Steve Jackson. "We are confident our continued focus on a high-quality product and easy ordering process will ensure our restaurants see additional quarters of same-store sales growth and an overall system-wide sales increase for 2016."
The chain of pizza specialty restaurants now includes nearly 600 outlets nationwide.
