Redberry Resto buys 16 Pizza Huts from Yum! Brands

MONTREAL — Redberry Resto Brands Inc., announced its purchase of 16 Pizza Hut restaurants in Ontario, its second major acquisition from Pizza Hut parent, Yum! Brands, in less than 18 months.

 

According to a news release, the 16 units are in or near the Ontario cities of Ottawa and Kingston. The restaurants were previously owned by Yum! Brands.

 

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

 

In September 2005, Redberry bought 40 Pizza Huts to become the principal Pizza Hut franchisee in Quebec.
