RedBrick Pizza runs Haiti relief program

January 19, 2010

RedBrick Pizza Worldwide's Charity Cafe Foundation has joined in the effort to raise money for victims of the earthquake in Haiti, according to a company release.

Starting Jan. 19, and continuing through the end of the relief effort, a portion of all sales on Tuesday nights from participating RedBrick Pizza cafes will be donated to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund.

"Our hearts go out to all of the victims of this disaster, and we are awed by the resilience of the Haitian people who need our help to recover from this catastrophic destruction," said RedBrick Pizza president Jim Minidis. "RedBrick Pizza Worldwide will match all of the donations collected at our participating franchises nationwide."

RedBrick Pizza Worldwide established the Charity Cafe Foundation as a cooperative effort among its franchisees and master developers nationwide to give back to people in need by supporting charitable organizations such as the American Red Cross.
