HOUSTON — Point-of-sale system provider Revention POS announced the successful integration of the Givex Gift Card program into its system.
"The pizza industry continues to have great potential for the sale of gift cards," said Les Hoffman, Givex vice president of Integrated Solutions. "Revention's market share and expertise in the industry will make them a valued partner."
Revention sales director Laura Gaudin said several of its customers expressed interest in gift card sales, so the company found a way to add the option.
"The most common question I hear is, 'Can the gift card be redeemed for a delivery order?' With Givex, the answer is, 'Yes,'" she said. "When the order is placed over the phone, the gift card number is entered into the POS and immediately authorized."
Revention president Jeff Doyle called the Givex program a new marketing medium for operators.
"Our clients are constantly looking for new ways to keep their name in front of their customer," Doyle said. "A gift card in your customer's wallet is a constant reminder. Pizzeria gift cards can be an affordable option for holiday giving."
