R&I Choice in Chains survey picks Papa Murphy's as tops in pizza

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza was chosen the best pizza chain in America in a recent nationwide restaurant guest survey dubbed the Choice in Chains Guest Satisfaction Award.

The study, commissioned by Restaurants & Institutions (R&I) magazine, had participants grade 133 national and regional chains on the attributes of food quality, menu variety, value, service, atmosphere, cleanliness and convenience.

Papa Murphy's received the highest overall score in the pizza segment.

"Winning Restaurants & Institutions Choice in Chains award is especially meaningful because it is voted on by the guests and it compares our attributes to all other pizza chains," said Mark Laramie, president of Papa Murphy's.

R&I conducts the annual survey with NFO WorldGroup, a Greenwich, Conn.-based market research firm.
