Riko's Pizza has announced the grand opening of its second Long Island location. The store in Mineola represents a steady expansion of the Connecticut-based restaurant franchise, according to a press release.
"We are excited about bringing the Riko's brand to Mineola," Frank Sciremammano, a partner of the franchising group, said in the release. "We feel this is a great addition to the community, and look forward to bringing our unique high quality product to the area."
Sciremammano and his partners were the company's first franchisee, "and the fact they are opening a second location within a year of their first location opening speaks volumes about the experience they've had as part of the Riko's franchise family," Luigi Cardillo, Riko's Pizza principal, said in the release. "Their Hempstead location is performing really well and we're confident the Mineola location will, too. Frank and his partners are just amazing brand partners. They are like-minded and they truly care about the product."
Riko's Pizza has locations in Fairfield County, Connecticut, New York and Florida.
