Riko's Pizza to support breast cancer awareness in October

Riko's Pizza has partnered with the Breast Cancer Alliance, supporting both the fundraising and awareness efforts of BCA throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, according to a press release.

Every Tuesday in October, the brand will donate 10% of all sales to CBA. All eight Riko's Pizza units in Connecticut, New York and Florida will participate.

Riko's has also launched a web page that will host key info about its corporate responsibility efforts, including its partnership with BCA. The page will go live in October and is a permanent addition to Riko's site.

The brand will also offer limited-edition t-shirts available for purchase online and in stores, with proceeds donated to BCA. The shirts will only be available in October.

Riko's will also turn its pizza boxes pink.

Finally, the brand will host breast cancer awareness events at select locations featuring live music, special promos and other giveaways.

"Since our inception, we have worked hard to make Riko's a community-minded and socially responsible organization. We're always looking for impactful ways to support important causes, and BCA's approach aligns well with our vision for giving back. We are thrilled to have them as our partner for Breast Cancer Awareness month."

This is the second year Riko's has partnered with BCA during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I encourage everyone that lives in Fairfield County Connecticut, Long Island, and South Florida to come out to Riko's on Tuesdays in October for amazing pizza that supports a great cause!"

Founded in 2011, Riko's Pizza operates four corporate-owned and four franchise-owned locations across Connecticut, Florida and New York, with a fifth franchise-owned location opening in South Florida (Pompano) this fall.
