Romeo's Pizza donates $25K to local firefighters

Ohio-based Romeo's Pizza has donated more than $25,000 to local fire departments from the sales of its specialty Firefighter Pizza. The pizza was available from Sept. 5- Nov.18, 2023, and $1 from each pizza was donated to support local fire departments, according to a press release.
The Firefighter Pizza was topped with Old-World Pepperoni and spicy Carolina Reaper cheese.
Romeo's Pizza partnered with six-time MMA heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, also a firefighter himself, to honor the valor and commitment of firefighters.
"It's an honor to have been a part of this incredible initiative. I'm amazed by the outpouring of support and the difference we've made together," Miocic said in the release.
Romeo's Pizza has 60 locations.
