Romeo's Pizza partners with MMA fighter to bring the heat

Romeo's Pizza has teamed up with six-time MMA heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic to launch The Firefighter Pizza. It features Old-World pepperoni and spicy Carolina Reaper cheese, according to a press release.

The pizza celebrates Miocic, who is also a firefighter. It's available until Nov. 18, and $1 from each pizza sold will benefit local fire departments and will be matched by Romeo's Sweet Smiles Foundation.

"We couldn't be more excited to support such a great cause in our local communities, with a great tasting pizza that our customers will love" Ryan Rose, CEO, said in the release. "We are proud to partner with Stipe in this campaign, as he truly embodies what it is to be a champion."

"If you want to be the best, you have to eat the best!" Miocic said in the release.

Romeo's Pizza operates 60 locations.
