Round Table Pizza raises money for children's hospitals
July 10, 2007
CONCORD, Calif. —Round Table Pizza employees raised more than $135,000 in April for Children's Miracle Network, an alliance of premier children's hospitals throughout the United States.
The amount raised was nearly double the mark set last year.
All of the money raised will go directly to Children's Miracle Network, which benefits children in need of medicine and health care. Additionally, the funds will stay within the community that donated them, going to a local allied hospital.
Founded in Menlo Park, Calif., in 1959, Round Table Pizza operates more than 500 franchised and company-owned stores in the western United States.
