WESTON, Fla. — Ultimate Software, a provider of Web-based payroll and workforce management solutions, announced that RPM Pizza, LLC, a 141-store Domino's Pizza franchisee with approximately 3,500 employees, is using UltiPro Workforce Management's self-service software.
According to a news release, RPM Pizza chose UltiPro's Web-based platform to improve employee empowerment and communication, while reducing costs and building efficiencies. Since it rolled out the self-service offering in 2004, RPM has migrated to a virtually 100 percent paperless payroll and is saving approximately $60,000 annually by eliminating the mailing and printing of direct deposit advices (DDAs) alone.
RPM also uses the UltiPro portal to post W-2s, employee training information and other relevant communications. According to the company's payroll supervisor and 401(k) administrator, Kim Ladner, the impact of the company's paperless initiative goes beyond the obvious fiscal advantages.
"I handle many HR functions for the company and can say that the benefits of self-service and the UltiPro portal reach across the organization, aiding employees, managers and the many divisions within RPM that use it," Ladner said. "By giving employees access to their own information, we're saving dollars, empowering our workforce and freeing up administrative staff to focus on other important tasks."
