Sales climb at Pizza Patron
July 19, 2007
DALLAS — Comparable-store sales at Latino pizza brand Pizza Patron increased 27.2 percent for the second quarter, the company announced. The increase is the fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit comparable-store sales increases for the brand.
The company drew controversy earlier this year for its "Pizza por Pesos" promotion, where restaurants began accepting Mexican pesos in addition to American currency.
Pizza Patron operates 65 locations in five states, primarily in communities with strong Latino populations. The company has 40 additional restaurants in development.
