Sally’s Apizza celebrates 1st store since founding

Sally's Apizza, founded in 1938 with a New Haven, Connecticut location, now has a second restaurant in the state.

The brand will open the doors to its second restaurant, at 66 Summer Street in Stamford, today, according to a press release.

The pizzeria was founded by Salvatore "Sally" Consiglio who "believed that highly crafted pizza had the power to bring people together. He dedicated himself to both his culinary craft and to creating a pizza restaurant that everyone loves coming to," Ted Zizlsperger, COO, said in the release.
