AUCKLAND, New Zealand—Restaurant Brands' board yesterday appointed Vicki Salmon, 44, chief executive.
According to the New Zealand Herald, Salmon, a Restaurant Brands director since 1997, had acted as CEO since the August resignation of her predecessor, Jim Collier.
Restaurant Brands Chairman Bill Falconer said Salmon's appointment followed an extensive international search for candidates.
In addition to Pizza Hut, Restaurant Brands also franchises KFC and Starbucks in New Zealand and Australia.
