Sam's Coal Fired Pizza to open in Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach, Florida is about to get a new pizza joint.

Sam's Coal Fired Pizza plans to open by March 8, according to a report in The Daytona Beach News-Journal.

It's owner Sam Tadros' first store under the Sam's Coal Fired Pizza brand, but he launched the company as a frozen pizza business in 2020.

The brand prides itself on making many of the ingredients in house, including meatballs, fennel sausage, sauces, burrata cheese and fresh mozzarella. The restaurant will offer up to 12 pizza selections.

"(Our sauce) is not too sweet, but it has a tang to it. And it's not acidic," Tadros told the news outlet.
