Sandworm Pizzert back at Pizza Inn for LTO

Pizza Inn has brought back its green, wiggly Sandworm Pizzert for a limited time. The dessert pizza has a green bavarian cream based topped with gummy worms and sugar sprinkles.

Last year, it became the highest-selling dessert item in the brand's history, according to a press release.

The pizza is available through the end of October and can be found on the buffet or to take home.

"The Sandworm Pizzert is one of those desserts that fascinates everyone — especially kids — so much that they cheer when they see the sweet, green Pizzert on the buffet line," Brandon Solano, CEO of parent company RAVE Restaurant Group, said in the release. "They are obsessed with it. When you cut a slice to put on your plate, it stretches higher than any cheese pull I have ever seen."

Pizza Inn was founded in 1958.
