Savona Foods merges with Stavola

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Foodservice distributors Savona Foods and Stavola Foodservice have merged to form Savona-Stavola, servicing New Jersey, Delaware and eastern Pennsylvania.
Savona-Stavola is a subsidiary of Bellissimo Foods, a group of specialty foodservice providers to pizzerias as well as Mediterranean and Italian restaurants. Bellissimo Foods has more than 40 distribution centers and services more than 26,000 independent restaurants.
