MELVILLE, N.Y. — Sbarro, Inc. has announced a second delay of its annual report for the year ended January 2, 2005.
According to a regulatory filing, the delay centers on "the effort involved in its analysis of the impact of the views of the Staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission concerning the accounting for operating leases ... ." Sbarro said it needs additional time to complete its analysis of the issue in order to determine its full impact.
