S.C. kills ‘Chuck E. Cheese' bill

WCBD-TV (Charleston, S.C.): A proposed law that came to be known as the "Chuck E. Cheese" bill was killed by the South Carolina legislature over concerns that it created a loophole that would allow video poker. Skee Ball and other games that offer tickets or tokens that are traded for toys or candy are technically illegal in the state.
