SKINNYPIZZA launches nationwide franchising program

Sept. 4, 2014

New York-based SKINNYPIZZA, a concept specializing in pizza, organic salads, soups and pastas, has selected iFranchise Group and franchise attorney Harold Kestaubaum to consult on the company’s new nationwide franchising program.

According to a news release, the 3-unit concept currently features stores in Roslyn, N.Y., Garden City, N.Y., and Manhattan’s Brookfield Place, formerly known as the World Financial Center.

Founder Joe Vetrano said consumers are making smarter food choices and are looking for organic, hormone-free ingredients, dairy or gluten-free or vegan products, which is driving the brand’s growth.

"We are being inundated with the information that a good diet leads to better health,” he said in the release.

“We are looking for individuals who share our vision that the future is in making healthy food choices. If you can picture yourself bringing healthier and delicious pizza and other menu options to your community, in an environment that is modern and appealing, than SKINNYPIZZA is for you,” added VP Michael Tenedorio.
