Slice House by Tony Gemignani has hired David Denton as fractional chief technology officer. The announcement comes during a period of rapid growth for the San Francisco-based brand. Slice House has more than 100 restaurants in signed development agreements and is slated to open 10 units this year, the first of which open earlier in the month, according to a press release.
Denton has worked with ore than 30 brands throughout his 25-plus years in software engineering, marketing and technology. His expertise spans across diverse industry verticals, with a significant focus on quick service and fast casual restaurant sectors.

"David has a well-earned reputation as a master at building digital solutions to support scalable growth for restaurants. As we look forward to another record year for Slice House, his expertise will be key to improving operations along with the customer experience to propel the brand to the next level."
In his position Denton will leverage his two decades of experience to oversee technology strategies that support strategic brand evolution and market growth.
