Slice House by Tony Gemignani to host grand opening at Folsom, California location

Slice House by Tony Gemignani will open in Folsom, California, on Feb. 3. The franchised location is operated by Sandeep Gill, according to a press release.

The first 50 paying customers will receive free t-shirts, and Gemignani will be on hand to greet guests and sign copies of his book, The Pizza Bible."

The restaurant is located at 3210 Bidwell Street at The Shops at Folsom Ranch.

"I am so proud to be partnered with Sandeep for this momentous opening of Slice House in Folsom, which is a hugely significant milestone for us given it expands our footprint in the San Francisco Bay Area into other parts of Northern California, where we are lucky to have such a strong local following," Gemignani said in the press release. "I look forward to joining the grand opening events at Slice House in Folsom, and to personally welcoming local guests, who will once again be able to enjoy Tony's pizza in Sacramento County, for authentic pizzas, pastas, and more in a casual setting, including our new Vampire Killer Pizza — inspired by Sandeep's love of garlic and all things spicy, which is exclusive to the Folsom location."

The brand has created a signature pizza for the restaurant, called The Vampire Killer Pizza. It's a Grandma-style pizza with local black garlic, Italian sausage, and Tony Gemignani Hot Red Pepper Oil with Calabrian chili and honey from El Dorado Honey Co., located in El Dorado County.
