SpeedLine introduces SpeedLink File API

LYNDEN, Wash. -- Restaurant point-of-sale vendor SpeedLine Solutions Inc. has introduced the new SpeedLink File API, a comprehensive developers toolkit for integrating third-party systems with the SpeedLine POS.
Multi-unit restaurant companies can use the new API to develop custom interfaces to the systems they use at head office for accounting, purchasing, marketing, HR and payroll.
"Most enterprise reporting systems provide only summary data from the stores," said SpeedLine vice president of development Terry Haan. "The SpeedLink File API gives multi-unit restaurant companies easy access to virtually all transaction detail for a day's business, including sales, customer and employee details, inventory data and forecasts."
