Study: CiCi's fastest growing pizza chain

The State: CiCi's Pizza, president Craig Moore says, has gambled on customers who are "stretched," for time or money.

And the bet is paying off for the 20-year-old Texas company, which was the fastest-growing pizza chain from 2000 to 2004 — its sales expanding at a 9.6 percent annual clip in 26 states — according to a study by Technomic, a Chicago-based research firm specializing in the restaurant industry.
