Study: Kids get a third of calories from pizza, snacks

MSNBC:  Researchers investigating the effectiveness of nutrition education on 8- to 10-year-olds found that a third of youngsters' diets consists of pizza, snacks and desserts. The Northwestern University study — the largest ever to track the impact of healthy eating programs — also concluded that children are capable of being trained to make healthier food choices.
