Sysco names Paulo Peereboom EVP/president of foodservice

Sysco Corp. has named Paulo Peereboom as the executive vice president and president, foodservice operations, international, effective Aug. 8, 2022, according to a press release.

Peereboom will lead Sysco's international operations in Canada, Europe, The Bahamas and Latin America, as well as the company's export business, International Food Group. He will report to Kevin Hourican, president and chief executive officer.

Prior to Sysco, Peereboom was CEO of Makro NL, the Netherlands arm of cash and carry operator, Metro AG. Previously, he held leadership roles at South African retailer, Pick N Pay and the Dutch retail group, Ahold Dehaize.
