The Taco Grande Pizza is returning today to Papa Murphy's.

The Taco Grande Pizza is returning today to Papa Murphy's but only for a limited time, according to a company press release.

"We invite our fans to add a creative twist to the usual Taco Tuesday dinner or this year's Cinco de Mayo fiesta by trying one of our all-time favorite pizzas, the Taco Grande," said Michael Miyahara, corporate chef, director of product development of Papa Murphy's. "The Taco Grande pizza is a fusion of savory flavors that has satisfied Papa Murphy's pizza fans of all ages for over seven years."

The Taco Grande Pizza starts with a choice of Papa Murphy's crust made from fresh dough and topped with 100-percent whole-milk mozzarella cheese grated in-store daily, a mixture of salsa and refried beans, taco seasoning, a choice of chicken or beef, Roma tomatoes, mixed onions, black olives and cheddar cheese.

Add-on toppings choices include:

• Cilantro and diced avocado after baking for an additional boost of authentic Mexican flavor;
• Crushed tortilla chips after baking for extra crunch;
• And jalapenos.

The chain is also hosting a social media contest inviting customers to post photos of their Taco Grandes on Facebook or Twitter using the #TacoGrandePizza hashtag
