Tavana's Pizza opens in Rising Sun, Indiana

Tavana's Pizza has opened in Rising Sun, Indiana, according to an WSCH report.

The pizzeria opened March 8 and features appetizers, pizza, pasta, hoagie and salads. Beer and wine are available for dine-in, according to a press release.

Aside from a create-your-own menu, the pizzeria offers a line of specialty pizzas including the Chicken Bacon Ranch, which is topped with homemade ranch dressing, baked chicken, bacon, Roma tomatoes and a three-cheese blend, and the Fredo Pie, which features original alfredo sauce, chicken, fresh spinach and mushrooms with the company's signature three-cheese blend.

"Tavana's Pizza is cultivation of some hard work by a number of individuals with a wish to serve the SE Indiana area with some good pizza, hoagies and desserts," an operator said in the release.

Dine-in and carryout are available now, and the brand plans to offer delivery in the coming months.

The restaurant is open Monday thru Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 a.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon to 8 p.m.
